PUBG UC and Razer Gold Top-Ups: What Catches People Out

PUBG Mobile UC and Razer Gold gaming gift cards top-up guide

Buying a UC code and having it not redeem is more common than it should be. The code is real, the payment went through, the email arrived — and then “redemption failed.” Nine times out of ten, it is a region mismatch.

Here is how PUBG Mobile actually works: your account is tied to a specific regional server, and UC purchased for a different region will not transfer across. It is not a glitch. It is by design. A UK code will not work on a US account. A Global code will not work on a Korean account. The system checks the region and rejects anything that does not match.

Before buying anything, open PUBG Mobile, go to your profile, and check the account region — usually under Settings → Account. That region is what you are buying for. Not the country you are sitting in. Not where your card is issued.

Some regions do not support gift card redemption at all. China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam accounts are completely locked out. If your account is registered in any of those, there is no workaround — gift cards simply will not redeem there.

On denominations

PUBG Mobile in-game store prices UC in tiers — smaller packs cost noticeably more per UC than larger ones. The 60 UC pack is the worst value by a significant margin. The 1,800 UC bundle is where the per-UC rate starts making sense, and for serious spenders the 6,000 UC pack is the most efficient of all.

If you are buying a top-up card by dollar value and planning to spend the credit at Midasbuy, buy closer to what you actually need for the season — the pricing gap between small and large packs is real enough that it is worth thinking about before you load up.

Razer Gold is a different product

Razer Gold gets grouped with PUBG top-ups because PUBG Mobile accepts it — but the two work differently.

UC is PUBG-specific. It stays in one game. Razer Gold is a gaming wallet that works across 34,000+ games and entertainment titles: PUBG Mobile, Genshin Impact, Mobile Legends, Free Fire, and on. The balance lives in your Razer account and you spend from there across whatever you are playing.

There is another angle worth knowing: every purchase you make with Razer Gold earns Razer Silver, Razer is loyalty points program. Those accumulate and can be redeemed for hardware, peripherals, and exclusive Razer items. It is a minor point, but it is a genuine difference from straight UC purchases.

If you only play PUBG, direct UC is simpler. If you are spread across multiple titles, Razer Gold is one top-up that covers all of them.

Regional options for Razer Gold

Razer Gold comes in Global and country-specific versions. The Global card works in most countries where Razer operates. Country cards — Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Turkey, and others — are priced in local currency and sometimes work out cheaper depending on exchange rates. Worth checking both before committing.

Where to actually redeem

PUBG UC: go to Midasbuy, enter your Player ID, paste the code, and UC lands in your account. Copy the Player ID from inside the game — do not type it by hand.

Razer Gold: go to gold.razer.com, log in, select Reload, choose Razer Gold PIN as the method, enter the code. Balance appears immediately.

Both PUBG Mobile UC and Razer Gold are available on BuyCard.vip across most active regions. Code comes to your email once payment goes through.
